I still remember the Diary of a Rock 'N' Roll Star ad in the Melody Maker back then.
The mention about Dave Hill was funny.
The following conversation always comes to mind when I think of these two great men.
“The thing was,” laughs Ian Hunter, “that Rono hated Dylan until then. ‘*ucking Yogi Bear’ he used to call him.
When he started the Rolling Thunder tour, I said to him, ‘What’s it like?’
He said, ‘Oh, it’s all *uckin’ C, F and G, y’know.”
