Singles Collection: The London Years Catalog Number
Date: January 14, 2023 23:58

Hello, I saw The Rolling Stones – Singles Collection: The London Years 3xCD compilation at a thrift store today.

As I glanced at the catalog number on the back cover, it said 12 18-2.

I realized that the 12 18 number is Keith Richards birthday (Dec 18).

That was an interesting find for me today.

Does the other '2' refer to a second Keith...or a twin, born on the same day?!

The '2' is of course for Bobby Keys.

I assume as noted here that it's the version of Sticky Fingers with the zipper on the cover.

59 is the year Charlie Watts visited the 100 club for the first time.
That's an easy one.

Now we have the answer to ELO's "Fire on High" (Face the Music) played backward because the music is reversible!
