Try to find out the web-address (URL) of the film you're interested in. It's e.g. an M3U8-Playlist plus an authentication key & expiration date.

Then use the free commandline-tool yt-dlp to download the film. Set the film-URL plus the authentication & expiration in quotation marks. In a test run, the download from the above website has worked.

Thanks for the great news that it appears to be possible.

Bearing in mind that I'm a "considerably old" IORRer (see [iorr.org]), this looks like a real technical challenge.

Yeah, it's greyed out on Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Opera browser. But it works with Safari on Mac.
