Thanks Lien, that was great. Keith sounds like he really had fun with this one.

Thanks, Lien! In case you didn't keep listening until 19.20 or so, that's from Lou Pallo's Les Paul tribute album "Thank You Les" released next week - and Keith sounds as if he's having a lot of fun doing that track. I really hope he does get around to making the "mellow album" some time.

Howard Thompson's WKPN show sounds pretty good, too - that station's going on my internet radio list.

Well, doesn't he do mellow "albums" for years now?

The Tom Waits-album wasn't really that mellow, was it?

I believe the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club asked it best:

"Whatever Happened To My Rock and Roll?"

Of course I also hope that he gets around to making some more Winos stuff and a good rocking Stones album - it's not mutually exclusive! The "mellow album" was a quote by someone interviewing Keith - can't remember where offhand.
