That´s interesting. A bit weird with the release date, though. If it were an official release, they would probably have hold back a little on ANY marketing...

Unusual to see a bootleg release listed so far in advance, though.

Released in the week of the band's 50th anniversary too - could well be another 'tie in' to commemorate it.

Its not really a Stones gig though, thats the thing (its a 35-minute guest appearance by just three of them).

Odd, to say the least.

Not a Stones show, but utterly brilliant.

My favorite part is when the boys are settling in to their seats and Keith whips out the blade to open the bottle of Jack or whatever.
If i remember it correctly he brings the bottle in to the place in a bag, can't twist the top of by hand so the switchblade pops out.
Then he takes a straight pull off the bottle before it goes to someone else.
'81 is about the last year i thought Keith was cool.

amazing performance. jagger a little bit shy when he jumped on stage but then he delivered very good. both richards and wood were very very good. what a show!

...of course it's possible that the bootlegers copied that exact DVD torrent tho'

seems not to be taken from my DVD, because this one here is PAL, while my DVD was NTSC.
of course they could have converted and reencoded it, but why should they do it ?

So do we believe this description that Bob Clearwater has remixed it for official release or is it just a bit of bandwagon jumping.
If it is indeed to be officially released,it would be very welcome.
I have like many of you on here got a fair few unofficial versions.

It's got Eagle Rock as the label. Good enough for me.

Actually releasing that gig so close to the real anniversary gig is a great way to honour and remind people where it all came from. A class act.

That is a wonderful surprise. This is as good as it's going to get for us: with all the other concert DVD's we've been getting lately, the fantastic archive releases and now this...it's too good to be true. Apparently, when it rains--it pours.

It is a brilliant show. Surely not one that I would guess to be released officialy, but the bigger and nicer surprise it is. The bootleg I have is quite poor when it comes to the picture and sound quallity, so I expect a huge improvement. I can't wait really.

According to the evo88 site...the sound tracks on the DVD include Stereo and 5.1...that would be amazing. I don't have any copies of this show simply because I always saw that the quality available out there was so frustratingly poor.

Stones in the Park is getting a UK blu ray release soon. Hopefully LSTNT won't be too far behind.
