They're going to auction off the job of bass player to the highest bidder. Expect to see Paul Allen holding down the rhythm section.

I see in the O2 site( [www.theo2.co.uk] )the possible date of concerts and there are free date from 1 to 4 November and in the week from 17 to 25 November.
From 5 to 12 November at the O2 there are Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.
Barclays ....

I hope they get some big sponsors to foot the bill in order to make the concert more affordable. My wife has never seen them live. "The next time they go on tour you have to take me" is a common phrase. If tickets are $500/pop, I just can't do it. I can make the trip, could afford $500 for TWO tickets, but man that's some money for a single show..

I remain optimistic despite the dollar figure attached to these contracts, but I have a sneaking feeling that unless someone is charitable, or unless someone can help me get a gig FILMING these shows (what I do day in/out), I wont be there due to the ticket prices.

There is no way I'm paying $300/piece for nose bleed seats.

But hey, they are actually going to PLAY! Woohooo!!!

I'm already feeling nauseous at the thought of the fight for halfway decent tickets.

They need the beautiful people down front please.

I suspect Jagger is betting on this type of reaction to bleed us white with tix price.
Remember it's their last bow!

If you recall the Rio show was presented in Theaters a day or 2 after the actual event (I know, I went). If they do something like that, I would go. If not, I would just have to hope for the best in 2013.

Hmmm. Rollingstone.com still doesn't have this story up. Wenner probably got it, embargoed, weeks ago. I bet he has to get clearance from Mick even though it's run elsewhere.

What, don't you want to go? I hope we all get in. It would be great if they give an allotment of tickets to us here and Shidoobee and Rocks Off too. I think they could do this as we're a small percentage of the audience these last tours. I'm talking about hard-core fans of course.

So for these shows, will they have a whole stage designed? If so, that would only mean there will be more shows, costwise. Right?

You have to know the set-lists for these shows will be as generic as they come, all Hot Rocks, all night. Keith is said to be having problems even recalling those let alone "Around And Around" or "Soul Survivor."
