They wouldn't need a monster stage for arenas like O2 and Barclays. I know that myself and many others have been thinking there might be participation by Bill or Mick T, but really, what would it be? A cameo? One song where Bill or Mick is brought up and get lost in the overall sound? Would they make Bill and Daryll be on stage at the same time? I've already accepted that Bill ain't coming to America. Maybe, maybe, he might show up for O2. I don't want his bass playing subjected to a football stadium and all the orchestration drowning him out. My dream is for his to record with them.

Ticket demand for these shows will be a good information gathering exercise for tour promoters.

5 nights in 2 different places I would hardly call a tour...

I am going to get a head start and start complaining about the setlists now.

They should be paid $25 Millions for 4 shows !
and then again the same question coming : "Are you doing it for the money or for the love of the music ?"

In which case, they can @#$%& off.

However, I would imagine they have options at each venue for additional nights subject to ticket demand so it may not be a case of $25million for just four shows.

As these will be the only cities theyre playing on each continent in 2012, they should have no problem selling extra shows if required.

If Branson etc. have the rights to merchandising / PR, sales of food, drinking etc. then it is easy done - if it would be the last 4 conserts 25 million $ is not too much.

It took them forever to build the Barclays center. The Nets were originally supposed to start playing there about four years ago. Once it opens it will be a hot spot for concerts.

I think this is great. If you are a Stones fan you can pay 300 US dollars to see the greatest band on earth. One time. You have two months to save up. And we have had a few years to save up to be honest. May be Branson is paying half the cost, who knows. And Barclays the rest. Divide 300 by 365 and it is one dollar per day. Less than a beer. And if you are rich or hard core fan you may see all of the shows. Not a big tour really. Just a handful shows and a club gig or more.

PS. You must climb Mount Fuji one time in life, but only a fool climb it twice. Same with the Stones some say...

If they are performed well that's all that matters.
I imagine Plundered My Soul and something off of Some Girls deluxe will be in there.

Prediction: The "new song" will be fifth on the setlist aka the "Don't Stop" slot.
