Not exactly sure when he thought up this list (came from a 1990 article), but does anyone f**king agree?

8 out of 10 ain't bad (last 2 I would argue with).

It's only because they did them to death live.

But they are their best tunes.

Anyway.. the list should be top 30.

8 warhorses and 2 odd ones. He has done JJ Flash 2 000 times but still loves it. It's a pity that doesn't come across when he plays the song. It sounds about the same everytime...

I got The Blues is brilliant: it's Stax/volt meeting English soul, and is an absolute ace.

By the way, Solomon Burke's cover of it is equally great.
