Read on CNN that actor Ray Liotta has passed away in his sleep while filming a movie down in the Dominican Republic.
He starred in Goodfellas, one of my favourite movies of all time. Rest In Peace.

Liotta was epic in ‘Goodfellas’; also gave a powerful performance in ‘Narc’. Such a shame...67 is much too young.

Damn! ... if I remember correctly, he's in Cop Land too.

By coincidence, I just watched 80s movie Field of Dreams last night.
One of the most impressive movies for me and Mr.Liotta played as Shoeless Joe Jackson.

He was able to create a persona in the Scorcese's movies, next to De Niro and Pesci, a persona that stood on its own, tall and strong. That is not small achievement. A giant amongst the Giants.

He had so much more to give, would've loved to see him work with Scorsese one more time.
