Bob Birch died in Los Angeles on the 15th August he was 56
Bob was Elton John's Bass player and backing vocalist since 1992

Heard about this earlier today...very sad news. Bob was rock solid and I saw him perform with Elton many times the past two decades.
Longtime keyboardist Guy Babylon passed away around this time three years ago...both he and Bob were great musicians and decent guys, too.
