Great French rock auction on May 17 with Oasis guitar and the first Jimi Hendrix autograph !

The first known autograph of The Jimi Hendrix Experience (with Chas Chandler !) from October 14, 1966 will be put in auction next May 17 in Paris.

But the event of this sale remains the sale of the broken Gibson ES-355 of Noel Gallagher following an umpteenth dispute between the two brothers in the backstage of the French festival Rock en Seine in August 28, 2009 which caused the breakup of the group just before the concert (cancelled). The instrument valued between 300000 and 500000 € was restored in 2011 by a French luthier. First price : 150000 €.

Great story indeed, but the addition of Matthieu Chedid on it kind of ruin the whole thing if you ask me.
