On this day in 1975 Rory flew to Rotterdam, Netherlands to meet with The Rolling Stones. Rory was invited by The Rolling Stones to come and jam / audition with them in Rotterdam after Mick Taylor had suddenly left the band. (Face it,the right guy got the job...)

In proper stones history: This week was the start of the first Australia / NZ tour in 1965 for the Stones.
