I also found it very narrow-minded that the Stones (that is: Mick Jagger) avoided to appear on a picture with all living band members at the July 12 anniversary.
Fair enough about Rareties & choosing another photograph...
...BUT, they were right not to have him in the photos with them at the anniversary, it was for the official, current line up...once you're out, you're out!
You don't just slot back into the photos after missing 20 years.
Bill being the humble LEGEND that he is would be the first to say that as well. And if you watch his post Stones interviews he says roughly the same thing too when asked if he will rejoin them.
If he comes onstage at the shows to play as a GUEST, then great. Same applies with Taylor.
