When Mick says some gigs later this years - it will probably be more than a handfull.... Ronnie saying october / november without business, then it could be some arena shows - maybe some O2 shows and MSG.

He doesn't honestly seem enthusiastic about further 'gigs'--he won't say 'tour'--when asked about what's ahead. At first, he laughs, as if it's an absurd question (at 2:35)--in fact he can't even say the word: in mid-laugh he says "the t-?", then he rambles down to a barely audible mumble about how he'd like to do some gigs, keep going... by 2:49, as his voice trails off in its lack of enthusiasm, you see an anger-weary frown, pensive, dreading the next question. The next question he answers in that same rambling-down-to-a-mumble about how they've been rehearsing, seeing each other, hanging out,... then at 3:03, that same weary, pensive look--his eyes are somewhere else, and they don't look hopeful at all...

Yes, but it also has the Pretty Things and the Yardbirds listed. And behind Ron Wood's left shoulder it advertises a show for Cyril Davies--whose only been dead for nearly 50 years...

Keith seems more coherent. Has he been getting voice coaching? Looks healthy as well, so perhaps he has been (gasp) secretly exercising (!!!!)...shhhh

To me, it just reads like the type of marketing material used to hook people and the press to a slow boiling PR machine that will gain steam in the coming weeks and months. Their age affords them a new angle to play the press and garner attention.
I have no doubt they will play some shows this year and do some sort of tour.

What great news finally, at least now there's a little more hope for a tour! I love the new picture, after 50 years they still look like bad-boy rebels. 
I have tried to watch the BBC clip of Keith's interview but it says the site is overloaded, pretty cool for a bunch of 70 year olds (more or less).

Y'all, I had a thought today. It made me smile.
The Stones, playing live whenever they do if they do, with Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman, and doing SFTD in a similar manner of...actually PLAYING the song ala 1969/1975, not playing along to a suped up Casio via Chuck Leavell.
Keith, Ronnie and Mick all going off on their respected duties of guitar lines, Charlie playing that beat that worked so well, Bill heaving underneath it all and Mick Jagger actually into it.
Like it mattered.
Wouldn't that be nice?
