What can I say.

What a band!

I was born 1960 so I can't have the privilege to be a fan for 60 years. But I met The Rolling Stones 1970 when I heard my first record of them, 'Let It Bleed'.

OK, I was 10, but you know, it hit me just like it does today. There was soemthing about this band, that promised (excuse me) satisfaction.

And it did. I kinda lost track of them for some years in the 90ies, bet they never were out of sight for me.

Since the last years, I swore to myself never to miss a gig as long as this band still plays live.

And so far, I could keep that promise.

And the real wonder behind all that is, , that we all here, friends, share the same priviledge. It's extraordinaire. to say the least.

What bands - or even concepts - have lasted that long?

How can I express my thankfulness to the Stones, for having the luck to love their live-music for so long?
Just look at MR from Atlanta, just 2 days ago... I mean,

WHAT A BAND!

The same for me ! About 80ty, and Charlie now missed. But I`ll go for 4ther ...

Well, the band played that MR quite impressive, as far as I'm concerned.

I can't even imagine playing this after the life that they have lived.

Maybe, please, try to be a little bit more sensitive for this.

Then again, if you find better examples, I'ld be more than happy to see them
