I recall seeing it earlier, but who cares... That was nice to watch, thank you.
The cynics might say something about the professionalism and all that, but at least for me it is such a pleasure to see how well those two guys get along and enjoy each other's company. The mutual respect and humor - I don't see any fake or acting there. The world would be a better place if people were more like them...
It looks like that Woody's company is the best to get the best out of Charlie. On his own Charlie is way too shy and restrained and nervous to say anything (if not talking about jazz...), but with Woody sparring him there he is just so relaxed and self-secure and seemingly enjoys doing the interview. Always positive and enthusiastic Ronnie carries the heavy load and does all the needed (small-talk) talking to fill the air, but he leaves (out of respect, seemingly) Charlie enough of room to throw his remarks and show his witty, dry humour... If it were Mick or Keith he would remain as quiet as normal... the Stones should use more this duo in PR.... Probably they don't have much to 'say', but the entertainment value is better I think than with Mick or Keith.... (probably because we know how those two big guys are like).
"Peter Pan".... And about the Grammys... Charlie didn't get any personally it seems, and seemingly no idea VOODOO LOUNGE even they got one, but I wonder does he even remember that he was once given a life time achievement Grammy.... We do - does he!
