He helped create the sound of what we listen to. I wonder if the Stones ever used his mixing board.

I don't think a "2001"-like board ever appealed to Keith.

Remember he insisted on the band to record all the Pathe Marconi sessions in studio-B (which had an ancient board) rather than the more modern studio-A.
