1966 concerts

The Rolling Stones played two shows in New Jersey in 1966. July 3rd at the Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ and July 1 at the Marine Ballroom in Atlantic City. I was only 15 at the time and did not go (way too young) however, did anyone happen to attend those shows. And if so, do you remember them?

I do not have a poster but wish i did. I was a Stones follower in 1966 and I do recall seeing a poster or small billboard in Wildwood, NJ (on a family outings to the shore) showing the Stones were playing somewhere. I even remember making a comment to my parents and friend at that time.

They opened with Not Fade Away and closed with Satisfaction.

They played Vancouver on July 19, which would be their last Canadian show with Brian. Who would have thought back then that it would be 3 long years before they played the States again?

The Rolling Stones played in the Brabant Hallen in Den Bosch on March 26, 1966.
Originally they were announced in 1965 to play in the Blokker Hallen near Amsterdam (where the Beatles did their only concert in the Netherlands), but possibly because of the "dramatic" August 8, 1964 Kurhaus concert, the 1965 one was postponed.
Can you believe that I didn't go and see the Stones at that 1966 concert, because I preferred to buy a Stones LP for that money (ticket plus train tickets)? Riots were still around and the LP I could listen to every day grinning smiley
80 (many great!) Stones concerts down the road, I now smile at that historic 1966 decision cool smiley

I started this tread in 2015, and I still seeking if anyone knows of the set list they played in Asbury Park NJ in 1966. I checked the "FM-set list" site but no luck. There must be some type of archive that may have that set list. Any suggestions are welcomed.
thanks

After another internet search, I located the set list for that show.

Take a look at this thread [iorr.org]

Stones...I used to bring a small pad and pencil with me to Stones Concerts to write the songs down in the order they were played. I still have a "yellowed" piece of paper in the archives from that day that I am looking at now. I hate it when you guys make me dig into the archives.
1. Not Fade Away
2. Get Off My Cloud
3. Stupid Girl
4. Lady Jane
5. The Last Time
6. Paint It Black
7. 19th Nervous Breakdown
8. Spider & The Fly
9. Satisfaction

I googled Rolling Stones Vancouver 1966 and there is an article from 2017 from the Vancouver Sun newspaper which has unseen pics from the show from July 19 as well as their first show in Vancouver in late 1965

I'm not computer literate, otherwise I would! I'm sure someone here could though.
