Great list, some of my favorites too, but if they have to "add'' new lyrics and shine them up, I'd rather them stay in the vaults as they are....

You mean they should be released as they are?

There are two good reason why many of them are unreleased. One - they're unfinished, and two - they're substandard.

Misty Roads is one I'd love to see shined up and released. It has a great groove that I think many would love and at least be a minor hit, if finished up correctly. I'd love to hear it regardless.

I'm happy for them to be put through the shining-up process and released - after all, we'll still have the original rough sketches for those who prefer them, and another collection of out-takes will bring the old tracks to people's attention as well as giving us a new bunch of finished "hybrid" songs. I love (for instance} Randy Whore in its unfinished state, but I'd also love to see it completed.

I never understood why they left misty roads off some girls deluxe its a great song. Id also add highway child and blood red wine to the list.

Some People Tell Me sounds @#$%& dirty. I get why it could never be officially released, but its that rawness that makes it so great.

That track smokes. Too bad the lyrics were never finished, and it could use a bridge.

Hi Honestman,
in Chuck Leavell's book:"Between a Rock and a Home Place" he mentions a song Keith recorded during the Licks sessions called "Smooth 180." Chuck said it was a fun track and that he hopes it will be released one day.

Gangster's Moll is on the Some Girls Deluxe people, No Spare Parts's verse is Gangster's Moll reworked.

As a majority of the songs on the extra Some Girls disc aren't? Misty Roads, Not The Way To Go, I Need You and Fiji Jim are vastly sueriour to a majority of the songs on the SG extra disc.

That's a classic Taylor/Richards guitar mash-up. No way could they do it with Wood - nor should they try.
