You can be certain that there will be some absolute GEMS out of this work. His work was one notable input into creating the combination of events that ended up creating both The Beatles and The Stones (and others of course) in the early 1960s in the UK.

And, it was VERY good to read....

If only every other band, producer, recording artist, record company (sigh!) were as wise as whoever took that decision!!

This'll be fascinating. Such a pioneering maverick. Spector is more well-known, but Meek is equally as important: the first-ever independent record producer.It'll be really interesting to know more about the recordings the very young, Marriott, Bolan and Bowie made with him.
