Steve is impressive with his knowledge of music but he is very cool, not bragging about it. That video should be shown in music schools. Excellent. Thank you for sharing.

I think that this interview shows why Keith Richards respects Steve Jordan a lot. Like Keith, Steve knows the history of music . Jordan is passionate about it (especially drummers'history)
Like Keith, he believes that music should be physically played on instruments not"machines"
He is Old-school and his point of view
is rooted in traditional musical values.

I never heard or knew of him until the Winos. If he's good enough for Keith, then he's good enough for me!

I finally found the video I took of Steve Jordan playing with Ronnie Baker Brooks & Big Head Todd at a local club just outside of Chicago years ago... the first few seconds are a little shaky, but it gets better!

What does that mean? No synthesizers, no studio enhancement? Then why not get rid of electric guitars and pedals?Bo amplifiers? No Leslie speakers? No fuzz box on Satisfaction? I feel that narrow minded thinking limits creativity of music greats like Keith

Considering how much they've worked together, it would be nice if Keith released some more solo material.
Starting with Keith's solo version of One More Shot, which based on what Jordan previously hinted at, is no doubt better than what it became with the Stones.
And then there's probably piles of other stuff - some of it fairly new which didn't out for the supposed new Stones album.
Would love to hear the "dynamite riffs" that Keith talked about four or five years ago....thumbs up
