'Jumpin' Jack Dyer

I was re-reading the story of 'JJF' about 'Jumpin'Jack Dyer, Keith's gardener at the time. Did a little search and came across this. I don't think I ever saw this before and find it a bit interesting...hope you do as well.

In the early 1970s there was a major fire at the property and afterwards a number of salvaged items were left scattered on the lawn. The vendor was on hand with his father, Jack Dyer, the estate's gardener, to help with the clear-up. As a thank you, Keith gave this award to the vendor who was a young boy at the time. The s
scorched plinth is a testament to the survival of the award in the fire.

Off course that's a nice gesture by Keith, but what would be nice to know is why, on what basis, Keith received that BRAVO award? Surviving fan attacks?

Bravo was the biggest teen mag in Germany.
Every years the readers voted for 3 best bands, actors, etc.
Winners got the Bravo "Otto" which were these Indian figures. It was a big thing in the 60s.

Stones were second after Beatles. There are pics of Brian holding his "Otto".

Yes, that was my very first album.

A nice compilation following their first German tour in 65 - which was promoted by Bravo as well.

I have often wondered the same. Those trees, though, have grown quite well. They now provide nice 'cover' to his driveway.
