Munich Germany travel and show info - The Rolling Stones No Filter Tour 2017

Show start is expected to be around 20:30 CET (Central European Time), i.e. 8:30pm, which is 7:30pm UK time, 2:30pm EST US East Coast, 11am PST US West Coast, 3:30am next day Tokyo time and 4:30am next day Sydney time.

I am in GA, probably playing a little wait and see with the weather. According to Wetter.de it should clear up at around 4 pm.

Any soundchecks expected today?

Would think it's just the crew soundchecking, not the guys themselves. Might take a walk to the Olympiapark and see what's happening.

Wondering too.
They had no real dress rehearsal, so maybe they will feel the need to practice on the stage a bit nore...
If not, they have tuning rooms backstage

It's raining.

Usually the sound check is 2-3 songs 20-30 minutes before doors open. Usually Tumbling Dice, plus 1-2 more. If the weather is bad then they might drop it. Same if doors open too early, they will not do it.

In Hamburg, they played around 16h Play with fire in the backstage area near the toiletzone beside the stage on Ronnies side. It was a pleasure to listen.

I'm looking for Arnheim right now. Hamburg was really great from my view. So hope for Munich.

I have a 4 person room booked in central Munich tonight and one person let me down so if anyone is looking for a bed it's yours €45.

Just had a look at the Olympia park. Not crowded yet. Sunshine just came out. No sound check, at least not at the moment.

Was at the venue. Security told me there are indeed two separate entrances to the floor: north and south. But the fans already lining up at the south gate were moved to the southwest gate. Weird! Nobody knows for sure what's going on.

Going to get back there in a couple of hours, lunchtime now back at my hotel.

Do they have regular security bodychecks ? Or even metal detectors ?

What do you think, will it work out in time or not ? Can't get there before 1830 due to work.

I remember running to the field from the south gate. It was the best and only way in the past. Take care running down the steps in block U1/T2.

Did not see any metal detectors at least not yet.

Word is they MIGHT open some gates at 4:30 pm already but nothing is certain. We will see.

20 people at North-West gate at this time.

We're staying in our cozy hotel room for now - forecast says rain should stop by showtime but....it's coming down in buckets right now.
