Posted by: mtaylor ()

Barca is out of Champions League - great news. Big change for Barca, no big cup this year.

Looing forward to the other semifinal tomorrow. Hopefully Bayern wins.

That's how everyone plays against them though, Real beat them at the weekend with less than 30% possession.

What a load of bull. Some teams play more defense minded than others. Just because they don't do the Barcelona attack and use heel passes and bicycle kicks, doesn't mean it's anti football. They won and they deserved it. They even did it with 10 against 11 for the majority of the match.

By the way: The Ramires goal wasn't anti football at all. Best goal of the match.

Hoping for Bayern Munich today. Barca vs Real would've been a dream of course, but personally I've always enjoyed a German team pitted against an English one the most.

I agree that Chelsea can no longer be perceived as an English premier league club...I mean emotionally...

The City forever...

However much I love Barca I don't think that their domination of European football is that good in the end. The Champions League isn't, by the way, The Champions League!
It used to be, but nowadays it's mostly a competition between the English, Spanish and Italian top teams. Money rules.

Stoneage,

Money ruled for Glasgow Rangers too ! Sorry, facetious of me.

In all seriousness, while containing Barcelona didn't make for pretty football, it was the only way to win: a case of Winning Ugly to quote a Stone title. Mourinho,3 years' ago, with Milan, showed that you could beat Barca by containing them and defending rabidly against them. Chelsea only followed his example, based on the fact that they are still, in spirit, a Mourinho team.

I think Real will go through tonight, as Bayern's defence isn't that great. I think Chelsea will play Real in the final, and they will beat them.

C'mon Bayern - beat Real and win the Champions League final at home by spanking Chelsea.

I have no favourite but it will be very hard for Bayern to put Real out in Madrid !
2-1 is not enough.

I live in Madrid and if this team wins tonight and eventually the european title league all real madrid supporters will be an unbereable people. They have already won the Liga so...enough is enough.

Tell me Mourinho, am I right?.....

Chelsea has a problem: Ivanovic, Ramirez, Mereiles and Terry - all of them are out for the final.

Extra time. Right now 2-1 Real - 3-3 overall.

Let's see who has the most energy left.

Great - No Spanish team in this CL Final.

Bayern against Chelsea in Munich.

Probably Bayern as a winner.

In Madrid everybody is walking on roofs of the buildings looking for the ball kicked by Sergio Ramos.

By the way....this is Ronaldo trainning his penalty kicks this morning...

Messi and the rest of Barcelona are celebrating....
