+ it's the same chords as Sweet Thing. Would have been too similar for a release the year after...

It's a straight forward blues. Nothing spectacular, but I quite like it.

Nothing spectacular indeed. But I like the guitarwork and the vocals. They’ve done worse.
I can’t really hear the connection with Kenny Loggins. I’m afraid I’ll have to listen to Kenny’s complete back-catalogue to find out

Yep, the guitars and vocals are good. Drums a bit monotonous and the bass bland. Still I would prefer this one over most songs on VL.
