Wayne Fontana and The Mindbenders were very popular here in U.K. during the 60's , and always got a load of airplay on Radio ,and many times on TV.

R.I.P. Wayne Fontana

Sorry to hear this news.
Love the tasty electric guitar coming in on The Game Of Love single intro.
The NME show 1965 version is great - Wayne was a great showman and handles the microphone well to get his voice levels right pre monitor era (as do the rest of the band).

I saw him with The Mindbenders in Glasgow last year as part of the Sixties Gold package show, which has now turned out to be the first and last time for me.

And I know Stepping Hill Hospital where he passed away that is situated near where I used to live.

All of these have come home to me now.

R.I.P.
