I dont really want to talk to him, but we see this type of question from time to time on IORR, people wanting to know how to contact the boys, people wondering where they are staying, wanting to meet them, and of course the never ending advice on what they should do next..... etc etc etc.

1)I wonder what is it you want to say/ask Mick or Kieth,
2)and (being Honest) what would they likely say back to you?


I guess I would say "Hi Mick, Thanks man"
and Mick would probably say nothing, probably not even smirk at me,
and then he would go back to looking at the pretty girls.... good ole Mick.

I wouldn't even try to contact them unless I had some sort of legitimate business offer for them.

Even if I found myself in contact with them, I would do my best to avoid the "adoring fan" bullshit and try to have something close to a meaningful dialog with them.

I feel the same as you Edith, I am in no hurry to meet these guys, or any famous people for that matter, I started this thread because I honestly wondered why anyone would want to meet them ,or need their contact info... why?

From what I have seen, the more famous people are, the less they want to meet anyone new, and that is fine by me.... I just wondered why anyone would want to meet them... and thought it could be a funny thread....

I would only contact him if I had something to say, either a question, or an offer of some kind. I would keep my communications free of opinion or criticism, and would make sure they were polite and well-written.

If I were dying, and wanted to send a thank-you letter to him, I would do so, and tell him how his work has enriched my life. But again, I would not offer unsolicited opinions.

If you met the Stones, you would probably be disappointed. Just be a fan of the music.

Ronnie is actually the only one I really wanna meet and talk to as a fan. I got nothing of importance to say to the rest of the band.

If I had met either Mick or Keith I would have nothing to ask them really. I would probably just thank them for all the great music.

But I would like to sit and have a beer and chat with either Charlie or Bill anytime. Especially Charlie and hopefully he would trust/like me enough to answer some questions...

I would ask:

"Do you remember when you were in the Rolling Stones and you recorded the album Let It Bleed? You remember how in the last song it says "You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time you just might find you get what you need? ...Is that true?"


He'd probably say something like:

"Yes Ryan, Ive found that if things don't work out the you planned at first, eventually they have a way of working out".

Then I would say "Awesommmee!!"

You need to have a very good reason to contact him, otherwise: forget it. But if you coincidentally meet him, just be natural. A sense of good humor helps. Don't get nervous, he's just a human being.
