Yeah.... Mötley Crüe only sold 80 million albums worldwide, with such limited sales how could they possibly be considered for any HOF?

Ok, yeah, that wasn't written as well as it should have been. I apologize for that miss information. But I do think they didn't do anything new or original that would merit them in a real RARHOF. Plus they are absolutely horrid!

Mötley Crüe is more legit than this sham that calls itself a RNRHOF. I think it is fine if you hate Mötley Crüe, but there is no sense saying they did not, and still do, have wide appeal.

OK, now my uncomfortable feeling that Max likes Motley Crue is increasing.

I have a really good sense for these things.

The J. Geils Band should be in for sure. Saw them last Summer and those guys still can ROCK! Huge catalogue of fantastic songs. Much better than a lot of acts already in.

J Giles should be in for sure, another reason the hall of fame is a joke. Next thing they will admit Berry Manilow.

Jann Wenner and his henchmen control all this. Wenner's still living in 1968.

Kiss and Motley Crue should be inducted in places like 'Pose-Rock and Roll Hall of FAme...They think they ROCK but....it's just poses of for example real rocking bands like The Rolling Stones...or Ramones...or The Clash...or Canned Heat...or Creedence Clearwater Revival...or The Kinks....

No, it is snooty, defined as Snobbishly aloof; haughty.

"Little talent"? huh? As if playing certain types of Rock and roll takes much talent, while other types does not.... I got news... none of it takes makes much talent... and to see people mention some bands which they love (and deem deserving ) while dismissing others is 110% snooty.

As if any of these rock and roll bands are more deserving than others... that idea makes me laugh... it is just more of the "our gang BS"... more "us versus them"... and "ours is great, but your sucks"... it is just funny.

It is fine to not like his style, but anybody saying Mick Mars has little talent is 110% clueless.


EDIT-
Of course some rock and roll takes more talent, like Hendrix, VH etc does...
but most rock and roll is pretty simple stuff.


The main point is this RNRHOF thing in Cleveland is a sham and debating who should be in is meaningless at this point. The debate is over, they ruined it.... the well is poisoned

KISS are the biggest whores in the industry! They couldn't get themselves in the Hall with an blank cheque! Who can forget Gene's pathetic plug to the Hall at the end of the Symthony (typo error??) gig in Melbourne! Even if they did get in, it'll be an after thought, in which, in all probability Gene and Paul would accept as they have no dignity and no pride!

This year the Crickets and James Browns old band are being inducted (among others) as backing bands that should have been inducted with there frontman. Why not the E Street Band as well?

The Hall is a joke. I visited once and was thoroughly underwhelmed. Cleveland was fun...but the Hall is boring.

Admission to the Hall seems to have forgotten the 'Rock N Roll' part of the name, with a seeming bias toward influences rather than rockers.
