I always loved the original newspaper concert reviews. I only started to collect them in 1978.








This is the first one I ever saved. You can still see the pin holes in it. I had it on my bulletin board in my room for years. Wish I woulda kept the article.




The first show of all the tours always get written up.The '81 tour was the first one I went to (San Diego & LA)

I've been collecting articles since 1978. Then I got about 5 boxes of articles from Vickie Vinyl and I started to scan then all in for all Stones fans at my site. I'm trying to get every article I can. I think there should be a database of articles. I got one started. as it happened when it happened.

I used to go to Nashville's Main Library and read out of town//state newspaper reviews from various cities when RS were on tour.
I wish I had made copies of them.

Rockman that's incredable! For some reason I always dug checking out original newspaper reviews. I'm not sure why but it's not the same reading a internet review. Rockman I hope you didn't mind, I used a bunch of your scans on my site.

Great! I was there in Groningen, 1999! It was thrilling, finally the Stones in my backyard! One thing I always dreamed of.

I actually made some photos, not great ones but enough to prove I was there! I stood next to the B-Stage, so I got a good look at them. It occurs to me that maybe I also have that review from "Dagblad van het Noorden" somewhere.
