Imho "Bitch" is the child of Jagger while HB is Richards'. As the tunes are similar the better one ("Bitch") was chosen... and "Highway Bound" was shelved.

After hearing the alternate version of "Bitch" does anyone else think "Highway Child" was actually recorded in October 1970 rather than in 1968 as most bootlegs state? Could "Highway Child" be an embryonic version of "Bitch?" Just based on the fact the alternate "Bitch" and "Highway Child" have the lyrics:
"Can't you see I'm the only one?
Yeah, when you call my name."
Thoughts?
