Great!
Thanks Tonstone!
Are you the taper? Can you tell us the tracklist of that night and share some more stuff? Videos, pics or audio, anything?

Its a shame the way people dismiss Taylor here, at least he is still out there performing. I cant get enough of his boots and videos. I live in Australia, he never comes here and I may never get to see him again, the last time was in 82 with Mayall, if he toured here I would be at every gig.

I'm sorry but this is just boring. Seems like Taylor is stuck in time. In 1963 this might have been fresh and inspiring, not so in 2012. And there are thousands of amateur pub blues bands that can play just as boring and somnolent as this.

So it's boring, because it's the year 2012 ? and Mick Taylor plays your local,Please tell me what floats your boat? This is a Stones and related board and you casually dismiss him as one of thousands.I never said this was a performance to Change the world but If MT came by my Local on a Saturday night I would not pass up the chance to see him.You must be spoilt by Inspiring Bands, STONEAGED ? OH sorry it's stoneage in the year 2012? hardly inspiring.
I think its a very understandable opinion. Outside of the Stones, he's not the "rock n roller" type that that band had him play. He's very different on his own and I think, even with the Stones, you weren't ever going to see him. You wanted the music, and the show and everything else.Quote

Just a personal opinion, Tonstone. Don't take it so hard. I'm not refering to the technitality of his guitarplaying but the whole concept. And no, I would't pay to go and see him if he came by my local pub. But I would love to see him back in The Rolling Stones even if it was just for one concert.

Yep I recorded on HD Flip Cam, great intimate show - encore was No Expectations- but I guess there is not a lot of interest on this board for me to post anymore, but for those of interest he also played - Stop Breaking Down - Blind Willie McTell/All Along The Watchtower[with Layla riffs] - You Gotta Move - Can't You Hear Me Knocking - No Expectations. All on Film.
