I like this clip a lot because it shows the inner workings of a pro video shoot.
But this is one time I didn't "get" Charlie's hostility. Was a bit much. Must've been that Crystal Meth he was booting in those days.

Don't miss the very last seconds!!! Okay you've already seen this bit in the 25x5 video but this is delightful.
And I had never noticed Charlie had such long nails.... Oh so shocking! cool smiley

I think I've seen that interview before...very, very uncomfortable. A sad time for poor Charlie.

If it's THAT interview, Charlie was pissed off because the reporter was holding him back from seeing Osvaldo Ardiles's testimonial match. He's an ardent Spurs fan smiling smiley

Thoughts on Clapton leaving Taylor out of the Stones lineup?

Anyone figured out what all Charlie was on when Clapton presented? He was clearly out of his head!

The One hit video - at least they were really good at miming horribly.

Two Thousand Light Years From Home.

So much hair spray! Keith's shoe issues. Oh my, dear, bring me my wine...

Ronnie playing HTW with an acoustic - holy crap. Funny how the interviewer asked for what's odd in a Stones song and he picked that instead of, say, Hey Negrita, Hand Of Fate, Shattered, BTMMRun - those bridges...

"I was gonna say, I thought it was in B"...

Keith scratching his head in the same spot while talking about being a junky...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Whut other career?

I do have a life outside them.

Great to see this again; have it on vhs but not seen in about 15 years. Good to see it finally on YouTube.

Right, I forgot about all those moments. I thought the same thing when Ronnie picked HTW of all songs. yes that A chord is the odd one, but HTW is still a standard song. An odd one is also SFTD; the second verse with only 3 lines.
The scene w/ Keith's shoes. I had to watch it twice to see if Keith wasn't having a laugh at the whole manner in how superstars behave on the set. But no - he was for real.

Out of self-respect and not bashing the Stones: Clapton and Taylor where both in the select guitar line-up of John Mayall's blues breakers, together with Peter Green. Clapton knew nor Jones, Wood or Richards had that kind of talent and thus wouldn't ever have made it to this kind of blues. Count in a huge line of Cocaine and everything is explained. .winking smiley

I watched that on VHS a hundred times when I was a student. Great!

Great to see this (again and entirely) The thing occurs to me is that Mick and Keith go along very well on making the One Hit (To The Body) video. No fight or whatsoever. Also not on the interviews in the hotel.

Also, a shot of a young Bruno Tonioli tutoring the dancers. He's of Strictly Come Dancing fame in the UK.

Just watched this yesterday...some really fascinating footage. Some people might think the interviewer was a dick, but he was really just asking probing questions that made the bandmembers a little uncomfortable, and I think that's a good thing.
