Yes - even if the never do another thing, I feel very lucky to have seen the Stones in concert. They will go down (IMO) in musical history as THE band that captured the very essence of rock and roll - especially onstage - and wrote some of the genre's greatest songs. They are to rock and roll what people like Louis Armstrong are to jazz or Muddy waters to blues; legendary greats. I'd feel lucky to have seen them once but I was much luckier: 1978, 1981, 1989, 2002, 2005, 2006...plus two great Keith and the Winos shows in 1988! Great memories from each even though some shows were way better than others! And though I was to young to see the Mick Taylor era Stones, I did get to see Mick Taylor at a Bluesbreakers "reunion" in the eighties.

Lots of speculation, but I have not yet heard the fat lady sing.

Saw Aerosmith in 1978 and thought that was the closest I'd ever get to seeing the Stones. No ticket for the 78 tour. Then got to see the New Barbarians - thought that was the closest I'd ever get. Hoped for a surprise appearance by Mick - didn't happen.
Finally, in 1981, got the news that we had scored tickets. Was soooooo excited. 10 times since then. Always a great show and always fun.
