He just became a session musician after the faces broke up, he's 73 now and still going strong but retired.

He returned to Japan as well as continuing as a session musician, played with various bands, Tetsu and The Good Times Roll Band. He didn't retire until the mid 90's. He goes on to say that he thinks playing this music as an old man his age to be juvenile and vain lol and refuses to speak to the press. He likes the quite life in the country, sounds like a man who knows what's important in life.

Didn't he become very religious as well? I'll have to do more research about Tetsu, obviously. I thought he was out of the game pretty early.
