Dangerous Beauty: KR's last highlight

Dangerous Beauty is one of the strongest songs on ABB, it is also the last highlight in Keith Richards' career as a guitarplayer.

This is an extremely good song. Are we sure Keith gets the credit? Not wanting to be incendiary, just thought this song was Mickish.

Is it really Keith playing that short solo?

There goes that theory...He just created another highlight with "Little Red Rooster" on acoustic.

You think DB is that bad?

It's Mick composition all the way, but Keith does do the guitar solo...

One of the few songs on ABB that I look forward to putting on. Good song...but slightly on the cusp of being filler. But it's good quality filler, nonetheless.

ah, can't stand this one - pretty much my least fav on the album, along w/ SOL and Look What The Cat Dragged In. Toss up between these 3 (don't like Sweet Neo Con either but its slightly better than these 3).

Horrible song, ameteur-ish sounding guitar solo.

Simple guitar riff. Nice though.

This is probably the one song which grew most on me from the ABB album. On the first few listens, I did not care for it at all but it really is a grower. Maybe the future classic from this album. And no, it's all Glimmer Twins, not just one of them.

Keith's last highlight? Hopefully not. He's still got more in him.

Sounds definitely from Mick's bag...but any song any one of them brings to the table will bear the Jagger/Richards credit.

Interesting to hear Mick's bass playing on this track though...

it sounds like a bona fide collaboration to me
(it's not KR's last anything - it's just a good strong track)

Sure sounds like Keith playing the main rhythm guitars in his signature open G way. As the guitarsolo goes, it's just typical pentatonic licks that he has been using the last 20 years. Suits the tune well, but far from extravagant.

I think they should have released Dangerous Beauty as the lead single.

It wouldn't have sold (then neither did SOL or Rough Justice, or Rain Fall Down, or the other other one) but at least it has the 'f*ck you' attitude about it and was a WAY better condemnation of the Neocon/Iraq thing. I would have loved to hear that in concert.

That stupid Neocon song put me to sleep...kind of like Neo Citran.

She Saw Me Coming is even more classic Keith, but DB is nice, too.

I had to throw it on to remember it too. Not a good sign.

It's already out of my head again.
Oh well, Brussels time!
