Keith on Highwire?

I put Flashpoint on this week in the car and have listened to it over and over for some reason. I've read in numerous posts on here that Keith does not play on 'Highwire'. Is that for sure? Cause that guitar in the right speaker really sounds like him. Is there evidence somewhere to suggest otherwise? Just really curious. Also, on a side note, I found an early appearance of the noodle lick in the last verse of Sympathy. Check it out.

I trust Zentgraf over pundits:

4th March: THE ROLLING STONES.
7” single (Rolling Stones Records 38-73742, -USA). Producers: The Glimmer
Twins & Chris Kimsey.
A: Highwire (MJ/KR) -single-edit
B: 2000 Light Years From Home (MJ/KR) -live, Barcelona 13.6.90
Line-up ‘Highwire’: MJ (voc, gtr)/KR (gtr)/RW (gtr)/BW (bass)/CW
(dr)/Bernard Fowler (bvoc)

Yes he's on it. Who said he wasn't?

as I remember the story is more about songwriting
the political content (first war in Irak I think) came from Mick not from Keith.
almost the same story as "sweet neo con"

He does play on Highwire, but not the main open G riff (that is Jagger). Probably that is what originated the misunderstanding.

Great song that should have been included in the forty licks compilation

We've already passed the "H" with René's track talks, so there is more to check here: Tracktalk Highwire

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

I think that Ron did not play on it, Jagger is the second guitar. It's just the founding four, together for the last time.
