those are vintage ES-350s and yes they sure are fine
i remember hearing that when Keith asked Clapton to be involved in that film,
Clapton agreed on the condition that would lend him that 350 - i'm not sure it's true, though

Agreed. Guess the guitars are 350-T's, the "T", I imagine, is for thin. Pricey. But there are some Epi Byrdland Elitist models which pop up on ebay occasionally, if the buyer wanted to save a few thousand.

yeah i guess you're right about that T. Keith has a blond 350 as well that he uses backstage -

Aren't they beautiful? I'm partial to archtops, but there is something too about the heritage, Carl Hogan, T-Bone Walker and all that.

Very sad, but...to be honest he looks uncomfortable with the guitar slung so low, I know this is how Keith likes to have it in recent years but he just looks to be struggling to get it in the right position. Maybe I'm making excuses, I don't like to slag him off as I've always admired his playing since I was 10 years old. He obviously thinks he can still do it and lets face it as a musician doing a slot like this is hard in that there is no room for coasting and Elvis is only playing fairly low volume chords, so not much backing. I'm sure with a few weeks of practice back with the Stones he can sharpen up enough to do one last tour. Much as I dislike the vegas set up it is exactly what he needs to cover his back and once again he'll stumble through with a lot of posturing and posing. Maybe one last big push of a couple of nights in three major cities then good bye.

The reason for no tour this year us they didn't get together soon enough to plan it. These tours take almost a year to plan there going to start planning it this year then there ready for 2013.
