Coming Down Again - Tour is over ...
Date: September 5, 2019 00:29

Tour is over and I don't have any Stones shows to look forward to. Big let down.

I miss that feeling of having one of their concerts in front of me.

I am feeling the same! After coming down from the high of the Pit in Glendale, our third concert, I am having withdrawals and a panic of when we can see them again!

Maybe we need a new topic. “Best Rolling Stones porn songs”

Jump--I feel your pain. I went to 4 shows, including the first and last. Between the 2.5 months of shows and the following along on IORR in between shows, it's been great. Now everything grinds to a halt, with little info and dubious chatter about nonsensical topics. It is quite the come down. It did sound from BV like we might not have to wait all that long for info on a future spring tour but that is me reading between the lines and maybe some wishful thinking.

I suspect we'll be back up again, with a South American tour announcement. Then maybe Asia afterwards? Personally don't think No Filter is finished.

I don´t know who you folks all feel, but I got this waht I get after every tour:
A After Tour Hangover.
Even after 18 days the tour has ended, I still miss the richness for a fan you
are thrown into.
Ticket-Talks.
Set-List-Talks.
Pre-Show Posts.
Show-Pics.
Periscope and Facebook-Streamings.
And so much more.
10 weeks non stop.
Coming down again - very hard to do.cool smiley

Can't say I have that. Probably because I didn't attend any of the gigs. Most of the excitement is before the first gig. Then it's business as usual.

Only by a new studio album would the Stones dramatically rouse me now. When I from time to time read setlists that remain largely unchanged, I look away in silent resignation. I still feel a more downtoned thorough enjoyment by listening to their records, though, but usually I am looking more forward to hear music by other bands that for me has more novelty about it. (The football club that I follow, instead will supply me with great ups and downs, and so it does.)

Post No Filter Tour - I feel completely content and satisfied.
It was a thrilling experience from start to finish with several ups and downs - from the first rumours, the official announcement, Mick's heart valve problem, the postponement,
Mick's quick recovery, the rescheduled dates, threats of hurricanes, etc., etc., etc. Somewhat of a miracle the tour happened at all really, and ultimately ended in as a major success for both the band and fans alike.

Looking forward to the next chapter in the adventures with the Rolling Stones - be it a continuation of No Filter (likely),
a new album (unlikely any time soon), or whatever else they may decide to do...as long as the Stones keep on rolling, all is right in the world. thumbs up

SOUTH AMERICA!

make it happen....and figure out a way to get it to correspond w/ my vacations!!

No Filter has been great. I'm still glowing.

Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Foxborough, NJ.....I can't complain, especially since I got "Shine a Light"

would love an album, but my initial feeling it would happen soon has diminished.

Totally agree, post-tour letdown, mine exacerbated by having to miss Miami.

Good. Another extremely disappointing set of shows. Let's be honest here, interest waned excessively, online users stayed away, and as usual the setlist was boring. They deserve a red card for this performance.

First I was sure, this was super-ironic. Than I saw who wrote it. Well...
Resding your weird comments for years and years I still wonder why you are here. But like Waldorf and Stadler belonged to the Muppets show you belong to this show here. So

Winter is a good time of the year to check out the local venues and see what you see. A great band is a great band. Even if there’s 20 people watching them.

Honesty is still welcome. I get a little thrill knowing they're appearing somewhere, and that someone is getting a charge. I stopped after 2013. Nothing changes, especially the setlist. I can't blame them mopping up all that money from their fans. My blues are more about realizing there isn't much left unreleased from their real Golden Age 1963-1990.

Coming down again indeed.A real shame that it is the same show and virtually the same set list each gig.One lives in hope that they might dig deep and give the hard core fans what they want. It’s only rock n’roll, but sadly it’s predictable and costly.
If there is only the prospect of a Stones gig to keep going, maybe some folks need to dig out a life.
