The live versions, to be a bit more precise. The (far superior, imo) studio versions remain unreleased.
the Barbarian Let's Go Steady is waaaaay better than that version with Ms Kimsey's interference
but i'll take the 1981 piano-and-vocal-only rendition of Apartment #9
i guess the Barbarians' wonderful Africa doesn't count as a Keith song - but it sure should be released!
apparently there's a Keith-LV rendition of Rip This Joint that's never surfaced - wouldn't that be cool to hear

I've been reading a thread on here about Keith Richards recording.
There are great links to songs I'd never heard before, it made me wonder what are his best/most promising unreleased/solo songs?

I believe that his best work or his best songs have been mostly offically released already. One that hasn't been made official and that is very promising because not really finished is "You got it made".

Would have made a great Winos tune, too... Maybe this will see the light of day sometime in a finished form. This version is terrific as it is, though! Can't imagine why it was not finished and included on VL.

I prefer Cocaine blues and Key to the highway. On these blues songs his crackling voice sounds much better than Jagger's voice would.

one thing tho - i was probably abit vague at the beginning of this but i was after his 12 best tunes that are either unreleased/demo Stones songs, or songs that the stones never touched.
