I’m just watching MfG 124a concert in Jacksonville 19 July (5 days before my birthday, ) and was impressed with the man. Who possibly could own his ‘crown’ if he wasn’t here?

This is a frustrating title of a thread. It`s meaningless. It`s the cheapest philosophy thinkable. Of course the evolution of rock would have taken a slightly different direction, but only slightly. There would have been a void to fill, but I would guess someone else would have seen the opportunity to occupy it. Reharshing the blues, that`s all it`s about.

I'm a big fan of Brian, but the story is different, Brian chose the name of the band, but Mick and Keith had known each other since before Brian. They were looking for a guitarist and saw Brian playing the slide and they were impressed. The Stones still didn't exist yet ... but as you can see things are more complex.Quote

.....I would've saved a hell of a lot of money (albums, CDs, tickets, books, souvenirs, hotel accomodations)!! But Mick's worth it
