Very cool, laid-back guy. Very good in movies like Easy Rider, The Limey and did not take his image too seriously in The Cannonball Run.

He was great in the Limey. And somehow he stays forever young. But don’t forger, this is not the first time he felt like this.

His father Henry couldn't believe it, that this son of him made more money, with a couple of friends making "that movie" ("Easy Rider") than he, the great Henry Fonda, earned in his entire career. Hahaha!

Bruce Dern was in that one as well. Still working in films today at the age of 83. Had a small role in Once Upon a Time In Hollywood.

I met him briefly one time in New York. My father was a custom handmade knifemaker and he was a big supporter of the industry and went to the show there one year. Very nice man.

Best thing he ever did was The Hired Hand, which he also directed.

Rest In Peace. Peter! He was a very under-rated actor...." Ulee's Gold " is an awesome movie...along with Easy Rider, obviously. Too bad his father didn't understand him! His loss!

Many years ago I was surprised by reading that Dennis Hopper said that he
would never ever work with Peter Fonda again.
Don't know what the reason was for their fallout.

Not exactly but many actors said the same thing about him.

I usually like road movies, but not Easy Rider, I thought it was very boring. Anyone care to share what's so great about it?

Yeah,"Ulee's Gold" was in the mid 90s. I remember the cinema guard I met on my way out asked "was it really that bad?". Easy Rider was great. I saw it many times through the 70s. Some people don`t get it. They probably don`t get the hippie vibe. Probably The Rolling Stones don`t get it either. Probably even The Doors didn`t get it either.
