i think what this promo shows is that the video editing and sound will indeed be
an improvement over what we got from the live stream. the only worry is
the one-hour length. what gets left out is gonna be sad.

Absolutely true. Looks a lot better. Indeed too bad that they won't give us the full show. But hey, what can a poor boy do ?

Back on topic:

I think Mick needs to reign in his onstage antics a little bit.
Watching him point, squirm, shimmy, and pose seems a little bit awkward for an old man like him.
Sure, he can still do it (somewhat), but it all looks forced and unnatural.

It might work in stadiums and arena's but it is slightly over the top on a coffeetable in the White House.

Yea, hairball. That kind of choreography is more suited for the big arena. Looks stupid in a smaller set like this. And if he chops of some of that prancing his voice benefits from it too. Listen to his voice on "Five more years": No prancing = better voice!

I think he was a little bit over the top on the first number but I enjoyed his performance on 4 others songs(Commit A Crime especially)

Each to his own. One can be perfectly ok to you but really unpleasant to somebody else. I can't post anything without him trying to wind me. Sometimes I lose my temper.
You have plenty of time till August)) Looking forward to hearing from you

As much as I admire the spark and gutsiness of Proudmary I must say she's off limits here. To accuse Rolling Hansie of being a stalker is simply preposterous.

hey kids, stop your squabbling. get over here and watch uncle buddy do
his promo for the pbs broascast tonite!

I think even superrevvy will admit that when he's become the 'voice of reason' on this board, we've become a little dysfunctional.

Did she Revvy? I wasn't aware of that. Well, the same goes for you as for Hansie. I wouldn't use that ugly word describing neither of you.

Stoneage, thanks for your kind words. May be "stalking" is too strong a word, but RH really doesn't miss any of my posts. It's kinda weird...
