He's got some new red shoes.

Three numbers he should be back at the end.

Very enjoyable.
I think my favorite was Jeff Beck and Mick' s number.

Fantastic performance by Mick, and Keith wasn't needed at all,he would probably had embarrassed himself, with all his posturing and not playing,Jeff Beck was great also...

Indeed. Mick did fine. I quite enjoyed "Miss You" mainly because it was arranged differently than how Mick is used to doing it with the Stones. The middle part got real quiet--enough for him to slip in some harmonica, he had some fun with the "I was walking in Central Park.." part...all in all..goes to show just how inspired he can be when you change up the song instead of the the autopilot stuff.

The drummer that was initially playing with BB and Buddy and opening was record producer Tom Hambridge. He was the white guy. He's a multi-talented producer who has won numerous awards and produced Buddy Guy's last few records (won blues record of the year for Buddy's Living Proof last year at the Grammy's) and produced the latest George Thorogood Michigan Ave CD. He's doing a lot of work now with 15 yr old guitarist Quinn Sullivan.

Good points, Justin, very different and interesting version of Miss You.

I just miss the rest of the band on that one somehow.

Mick at the White House (being formal and all) was introduced as just Mick Jagger, not Sir Mick Jagger.

They would for Paul.

Yeah, I can't imagine being in Mick's shoes, dancing up there to a room full of people sitting on their ass, staring at you. But good for Mick for still being a trooper and giving it his all.

I know Paul usually gets introduced with the Sir but to me the Sir ruins it with Jagger. He's Mick Jagger and should be introduced that way.

It was Jagger's teleprompter remark. Look at her face right after he says it. She took it as a dig at her husband and was offended. I wonder why?
