maybe everybody posting on the sticky white house thread should start a new thread instead for everything they post about it. good idea?

maybe never use an existing thread? start a new thread for anything anybody posts?

How considerate of you to say such a thing, especially since it's ONE person who actually does things and knows things with and, of and about the music industry (and possibly knows posting it in the sticky doesn't exactly mean everyone will see it).

Unlike, for a fantastic example, yerself.

Ok, please, let me use for the last time these words: sad smiley

In 1975 Taylor was replaced by Wood, marking a return to the style of guitar interplay that he and Richards described as "the ancient art of weaving"

R.I.P. Ancient art of weaving.

you misunderstand. i want MORE threads that say "bits of news" or "shreds of
news" or "molecules of news" because i think it is very courteous to dangle
information so no one can possibly know if they want to click on it or not,
because people love the thrill of the hunt.

i NEVER want to see slightly new info relating to a topic i'm following placed
in the relevant thread. that would be so boring.

i've been just stupid. when i find a story on keith richards at the apollo
in the new york times, i'll make sure from now on i start a new thread called
"new thread". i can't believe i didn't think of this before. how insensitive of
me. please accept my apologies.

compared to the nonsensical threads and posts you've made up to now, that would indeed be a breath of fresh air!

Thanks for the info "hb"...

Just for clarification, is Haynes part of Booker T's backing band and going to be playing with everyone or does Mick have his own seperate backing band? I was thinking that I had read somewhere that Booker T was the band leader of the house band and was going to be backing the featured artists. Were you able to gain any insight from Warren how things are actually going to work tonight?

As always, thanks for sharing with us what you're able to share. Looking forward to the updates as they're available.

Peace,
Mr DJA

like i said - i was going to hit this back as soon as i checked a couple of things out - that was just a part of the message though as I thought the enthusiasm from Haynes as to Mick's performance today was interesting, too- in hindsight though, and given the discussion it seems to be causing - I'm reconsidering returning to this - it was, i admit, a mistake on my part to go out early with the fact that i heard something - i got ahead of myself - i just wanted to verify something first before sharing anything but I was a little amped and wanted to at least set the table here because frankly, i'm not sure anyone would care as much- my bad - my emotions got ahead of me and i should not have posted that - all - please accept my apology on that - when i feel it's right to share something i will - i just did not want to get into hearsay business (as i am a fact freak) but obviously I had a discussion last night that affected me.

Yeah I was a bit surprised you dangled that carrot like that, hbwriter. With these kinds of things, either you spill it or just not say anything. Besides, by the time you are at "liberty to say anything"...would it really be a "scoop" if you were planning to tell us much later when official announcements will already be made?
