this was Ronnie's first ever solo show and he asked a fews to help out. He released this as a CD and DVD briefly. The show was to promote ronnie's first solo LP

Great show. And very well recorded too. This is IMO the best way to learn Ronnie songs chord changes. Keith plays very well, and is sure of all his parts.
The real stars may be Willie Weeks and Andy Newmark though.

It always surprised me when Ronnie tells of how little Rod thought of Ron's lead vocals. Maybe it is just the coloration of his story telling...

So the Stones stole that studio track inner sleeve idea from Ronnie? I never knew!

This album came out just a few years ago.

That inner sleeve artwork wasn't in the original US version of I've Got My Own Album To Do (or sadly, not even in the CD release decades later) but it was included in 1974 UK copies. I didn't get a UK one until 1979 and having all that specific information really increases your sense of what a fun project this was.

It switches a bit back and forth. Isn't the official version like that, too?

This official release is just a copy of the bootleg. I was very disappointed because I was looking very forward to a sound-upgrade that time

Still it's a must have for any stones fan.

True. A great amazing concert.
But you have to know, that the quality is far below standard of any official releases. Not to compare with any stones vault release. Ronnie just used the not so rare bootleg

Nothing amazing about it, as they were fueled with drugs and alcohol, but cool anyway! cool smiley
