Thinking of that, - in the early 70's it was common sport over here to steal records. You could buy them in every bar,etc.
£2 each in 1979 here..............
lines went twice around the block for that one....
It was more of a table, but yeah we wrapped around it a few...
....................................................well not on the exact day but it was the first one ....

Exile. Me and my older brother went to Jaimes on Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn and there were stacks and stacks of them selling like hotcakes. Thats how it was whenever a Beatles-related, Dylan, Stones or Zep album came out.

Exile On Main Street on the day it came out in May 1972. But I had Sticky Fingers pretty soon after it was released too.
