I thought she nailed it. Jury out on lip synching from my perspective.

I didnt want to like it, I dont like Madonna... but it was fine.

Not my type of genre... but as the guy in movie "Babe" said... that'll do pig, that'll do.

I loved the Penthouse photo spread of her. Sorry I had to go there. I just loved it way back when back in the day when, ahem, women had not yet discovered Brazilian. Those were the days. These metro-sexual candy-ass guys from today don't know what there missing.

I've been teaching music for 34 years. Sometimes you just don't give a crap about what chords are being played and you just want to watch and enjoy. You would never be a musician. Too closed minded.

Seems very "lively" for her advanced years.

This annual 'ooh it wasnt ALL live' and 'not real music' nonsense is a bit cringeworthy, considering no one watching it on TV paid for a ticket.

Lip Sync'd or not, I thought it was pretty good. And I'm not a fan.

The look of the show had promise, but it was kind of boring. Mostly a letdown. I was rooting for her but it was rather flat. The two songs in the middle were fillers and lacked energy. "Vogue" was her best, "Like a Prayer" was truncated and felt like a run for the bus. I give it a 2 1/2 out of 5 or a C-.

Yeah, it was lip synched. Yeah, it's not what a "real" band does. But the spectacle of it somehow fits the Super Bowl. It didn't knock me out, but I watched and was reasonably...entertained...as I sipped my beer. Good enough for me, who would never buy a ticket to see something like this as it's not my thing. So in a way it's nice to get in an easy-to-digest 15-minute, concentrated package. I don't always need to be blown away by a real rock band during this event. I more impressed by the logistics of these halftime shows...like how quickly they can assemeble and disassemble the stage. That's impressive.

She rocks. I haven't seen such a wild show since Hanson was in town.

Well, fans of American Idol probably liked it but actually they are really singing on THAT show.

i thought it was really funny and quintiseential Madonna that she came out and did her riff on Elizabeth Taylors Cleopatra...inspired and ballsy...but the rest.....not so sure...and the decision to use Ceilo Green for Like a Prayer when the original with the female vocal is so great was a poor choice.....but it was done because of pressure from NBC to tie in the stupid show after the Super Bowl...wonder if her agreement to allow NBD to do that gave her the nod for the Super Bowl over GaGa.....whatever...I'm sure it looked good live.....now she just has to deal with the fall out from M.I.A.'s having flipped the bird to the camera...great game..congratulation Ny Giants....

let me tell you something this was an absolute disaster of a performance, what ever happened to getting on stage with guitar, bass and drums and just performing? whats with the circus act and no instruments? and the lip sync bullcrap, just bloody awful
