Yeah there's shit loads about
the early studio work along side
Mick & Keith but he'll probably wanna stay on topic ….

But maybe you could wear a low-cut dress
hold the mic like Tina Turner and weave a bit of Stones stuff inta this ……

Oh sorry...didn't realize I stumbled into the beginnings of a Transpacific relationship.

On the topic of ALO...saw him do the intro/outro to Charlie Is My Darling at a theatre in Vancouver, a few years before it got it's DVD release.

Fantastic...enjoy STG.

Damn, would love to see ALO talk, though probably not about Rod (what's the connection?).

Reminds me of a story - a friend of mine who became a prominent critic was writing for a student newspaper at Oxford in the mid-60s. He arranged to have an interview with ALO, and duly turned up at the offices at the designated time. He waited for a while, and then in walked Mick and Keith. "We're here for the interview", they said. My friend replied that he was here to interview ALO rather than them. "Andrew can't come, so he asked us to talk to you", to which my friend said "Well I don't want to interview you, I want to speak to Andrew" and left.

You have any questions Rockeee?

You could ask him: 'When you decided to sell your 'share' of Rolling Stones recording and publishing copyrights to Allen Klein, had you already given the group first refusal'?

One more story from the syrel anecdote library (the only other one): One of my university profs was at the LSE the same time as Mick. Mick offered for his new band to play at her 21st birthday party, to which she replied "No I do not want you and your spotty little friends playing at my party thank you!".

Yes, I remember hearing that around the time of the screening.

Isn’t Ronnie the bassist on Come Home Baby? I could swear he mentions performing alongside Keith during a PP Arnold session somewhere. His autobiography, perhaps?

This from Zentgraf:

Line-up: KR (gtr; maybe bass)/RW (bass?)/Rod Stewart (voc)/P.P. Arnold
(voc)/Nicky Hopkins (p)/Keith Emerson (keyb)/Micky Waller (dr)/
Georgie Fame Brass Section (horns)
Note: Date unsure, but maybe the first collaboration between MJ, KR & RW!
Come Home Baby wasn’t released before 1975, when it appeared
on an obscure US compilation album

Thanks, Deltics. P.P. Arnold’s Wikipedia entry suggests it’s Keith on bass and Ronnie on guitar. Intriguing stuff. They’re probably both involved, I’m sure.
