OT: RIP Peggy Lipton of Mod Squad fame

Died today. The Mod Squad was her claim to fame. She was married to Quincy Jones and appeared on Twin Peaks. Somewhere, I have her debut record album packed away. I think I actually bought it for the cover photo of her.

Also Rashida Jones' mother. She was a beautiful woman and great on Twin Peaks.

RIP.

Loved her as Shelly in Twin Peaks. I vaguely remember thinking she was super cool looking on the Mod Squad, but was too young to remember much more of it.

quite a beauty right up until the end.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Oh no, this is sad news. Really liked everything I saw her in, Twin Peaks most of all. R.I.P.

Was just a kid in the early '70s, but remember The Mod Squad well...she was one of my favorites at the time, along with Elizabeth Montgomery.

They filmed an episode in my hometown in 1969...in this scene, the record store (Allegro Music) where I bought my first single and LP is in the background.

I don't disagree. However, there are just as many million women out there that cold fit the bill. Women love the just the same blue eyes? greenish blue eyes?? Not sure But Beauty is only skin deep. I appreciate all the beauty that women brought to me

I've never seen Twin Peaks. But I loved her in the Mod Squad.

Like most of us from the era Peggy Lipton was an early crush.
Gorgeous. Her and Quincy Jones' daughter Rashida Jones is as well. RIP

How cool was this intro. And where the hell were they running too or from?

Maybe Peggy Lipton was running from a young Harvey Weinstein?

Peggy Lipton and Rashida Jones were one of the very few mother-daughter combos that I had incurable crushes on (Peggy when I was in school, and Rashida when I was old enough to feel embarrassed by how a woman so much younger could make my heart go pitter-patter).

But my heart really goes out to Rashida and her sister. There's something that's a very cruel twist of nature for children lose their mother the day before Mother's Day.

Yes! Lucky for me, I survived the freezing process. Upon awakening, Lukester told me he loved me, and as one does, I responded "I know". ;-)

I’m thankful we got to see her and many others we have now lost in Twin Peaks: The Return.

Thank you Peggy. RIP.

Yes. Terribly sad. After my own Mom's death, I took to my bed for the first Mother's Day. One of the worst days is the day you lose Mom. RIP Peggy
