With Taylor they would have probably done "Time Waits For No One" as well.

And drop it after 2 gigs cos it bored the audience? I mean it's a record song not a live song.

I saw this photo many times before and I'm still horrified how Keith and Anita were looking during this shot. Scary faces... eye popping smiley

Keef is looking ok; Anita looks like someone dug her up from her grave. Keef says that's OK, I like older women.

Worst career move in Rock history along with Pete Best pissing off John Lennon.Taylor could have done stuff like this with Carla Bley and Bruce as a side gig ,and still kept his gig with the Stones.Didn’t Bill Wyman put out a solo album in 1974 before Taylor quit.If Taylor wanted to do that he could still have stayed in the band.Instead he let his ego get yer he better of himand people like Andy Johns and his ex -wife influence him to leave.

^^^
Where & when is this great shot from?

If '74 it's not any of the July or December Kilburn shows is it?
Or maybe an IORR promo shot?
Never seen it before.

Interesting to see keith play 6 strings with a slide. Not likely an open G song then. Could be something in open E, or standard tuning, but what song? I don't know.

I think this photo was taken during the promo shoot for Till the next time.
Keith's dress looks like same. See pics from exilestones from page 3 in this thread.
Maybe he tried something on slide between the shoots smiling smiley

Cool to see those pics from 1974. Thanks guys! Awesome!

It's also fun to see Mick Taylor really participate and smile on those promo videos like; It's Only Rock n Roll, Ain't Too Proud to Beg, Till The Next Goodbye.

And to think that this would be his last year with the Stones.

What song are playing here, Till The Next Goodbye?

Looks like it's a rehearsal.

VIDEO: [www.youtube.com]

Charlie is HILAIROUS! Their "playing live" videos, which peaked with the horrendous TATTOO YOU videos, are brilliantly awful with the miming.
